Here at Your Therapy Partner, I specialise in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy for Anxiety and Depression and all the symptomologies that can manifest when you’re suffering from these. I will help you understand how you can better achieve your hopes for the future. Working together; in a safe, comfortable and entirely confidential place to help you to understand yourself better.
Together we will discover what future goals are important to you and how these can be achieved. In Solution Focused Therapy, we do not focus on the past, instead the emphasis is based entirely on the future and what you want it to be. You will soon realise that making small changes can have a huge effect in your life.
"It’s very rare to say an experience has been genuinely life-changing, but my weekly appointment with Rachael has been exactly that.
"Rachael listens and understands, and whilst her role is not to provide advice, some way or another I end up knowing what steps I need to take to make my world a better place for the next day.
"Without realising I had stopped taking my medication and on a daily basis was putting in practice the techniques Rachael and I had spoken about. I cannot thank Rachael enough for her support."
"I am so pleased I started seeing Rachael, I have never been able to relax like this before. Since starting my hypnotherapy journey it is a comfort to no longer dread trying to go to sleep anymore."
Welcome, my name is Rachael and I run ‘Your Therapy Partner’. I am a qualified Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist (DSFH) and psychotherapist based in Colchester, North Essex (United Kingdom). In the context of my private practice Your Therapy Partner, I specialise in working with people with anxiety and depression, and all the associated symptoms. Anxiety and Depression can manifest in numerous symptomologies, which can be worked on together to bring about positive changes.
Alongside supporting my clients at Your Therapy Partner, I work in a research and clinical NHS role at the South London and Maudlsey Hospital, Kings College London and the Institute of Psychiatry, where I have worked for the past 17 years, specialising in Neuroimaging.
I have always had a passion for helping people, especially those that have reached a point in their lives where they require additional support and care. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing clients reach their desired goals and witnessing the impact it has on their lives in such a short time frame.
