It’s very rare to say an experience has been genuinely life-changing, but my weekly appointment with Rachael has been exactly that. A few months ago I was stuck in a cycle of stress and frustration, struggling to balance work and kids and everything else. I had reached that level of overwhelm where you burst out crying if someone asks how you are. I am sceptical of things like hypnotherapy and meditation, it sounds a bit bonkers, and I was convinced I didn’t have to time to indulge in the process, but I am so glad I did!

Rachael has built a structure for me, it’s hard to explain but she has given me the power to properly take care of myself (and therefore everyone else). I feel like I really understand how my brain is working now, I get it, I know what I need to do to tweak my own behaviour to keep everything manageable. Rachael’s guided meditations have been so refreshing, I have finished each session feeling like I’ve just got out of a warm bath, ready to face anything. I have already recommended Rachael’s services to absolutely everyone I know, she’s so gentle and so intelligent, I can’t thank her enough for everything she’s given me.

I have had the pleasure of Rachael assisting me with clinical hypnotherapy over a number weeks. I have found Rachael to be very knowledgeable of her subject area, and I have personally gained from the work she has done with me. The time has enabled me to recognise times where my "bucket is full" and how to respond to this to manage day to day work, home and family commitments... a challenge for a number of mums I'm sure!

Throughout the process I have recognised that I have learnt to adapt my behaviours to ensure that my life remains as stable as possible in times that would normally be very challenging, including things such as managing increased workload, managing relationships and also dealing with my emotions around my terminally ill father. It has been a totally mixed bag, and until I sit down and go through these with Rachael I am never sure what the trigger that week had been.

Rachael listens and understands, and whilst her role is not to provide advice, some way or another I end up knowing what steps I need to take to make my world a better place for the next day. I have found the course very personally rewarding and the relaxation session at the end provides a space for me to think, imagine and check out from my day-to-day life for 20-30 minutes a week which is invaluable. I would highly recommend Rachael and wish her much success.

I have been seeing Rachael for a number of weeks. I had been on medication for anxiety for a number of months when I had my first session with Rachael. Over the weeks I noticed a vast improvement in my ability to deal with my anxiety. Without realising I had stopped taking my medication and on a daily basis was putting in practice the techniques Rachael and I had spoken about. I cannot thank Rachael enough for her support.  

I have recently been attending sessions with Rachael which I very much enjoy going to. From the moment I met her she made me feel at ease and had a calming nature that helped me to relax in her company. I start going to see her as I struggled to switch off and unwind at night time. After only a few visits I was already finding what I had experienced with Rachael in our sessions was easy to adapt to my bedtime routine each night finding myself drifting off to sleep quicker. I use her methods every night and if I get a disturbed night being woken by my children I use this to help me switch back off and go back to sleep very quickly.

I am so pleased I started seeing Rachael, I have never been able to relax like this before. Since starting my hypnotherapy journey it is a comfort to no longer dread trying to go to sleep anymore.
